Explore Fluted and Channelled Beds with Textured Headboards
Fluted beds use repeated upholstered sections to create depth, texture and definition across the headboard. Our collection brings together fluted and channelled designs with vertical and horizontal detailing, offering a distinctive alternative to plain or traditionally buttoned beds.
The Francis features a refined vertically fluted headboard, creating a clean and contemporary appearance with subtle texture. The Byron takes a different approach with horizontal upholstered tube panels, giving the headboard a broader, more sculpted look. Florence uses wide vertical channels to create strong lines and depth while retaining a simple, contemporary finish.
These structured upholstery styles work particularly well in bedrooms where the bed is intended to become a focal point without relying on heavy decoration. Vertical detailing can emphasise the height of a headboard, while horizontal fluting creates a wider, more relaxed appearance.
A wide selection of fabrics and colours is available across the collection. Velvet can emphasise the depth and changing light across each upholstered section, while woven and neutral fabrics can produce a softer and more understated finish.
Each design is available in a range of bed sizes, with selected models also offering different storage and finishing options. We recommend ordering fabric samples before choosing your upholstery, particularly with textured headboards where the colour and fabric surface can affect how strongly the fluted or channelled detailing appears.
Each bed is handmade to order in the UK by experienced upholsterers, combining distinctive headboard detailing with a wide choice of fabrics, sizes and finishes.
