Discover Velvet Beds with Soft Texture and Rich Colour
Velvet beds bring a soft, tactile finish to the bedroom, combining upholstered comfort with a fabric that can add depth and richness to colour. Our collection includes velvet bed designs in a range of styles, from cleaner contemporary frames to more decorative buttoned, fluted and winged designs.
The appearance of velvet can change depending on the direction of the pile and the way light falls across the fabric, giving the upholstery a subtle variation throughout the day. Deeper shades can create a more dramatic focal point, while lighter neutrals offer a softer and more understated look.
Velvet works particularly well on upholstered beds with detailing such as deep buttoning, vertical fluting and shaped headboards, as the fabric helps emphasise the contours and texture of the design. Simpler bed frames can also benefit from velvet where the material itself provides the main decorative feature.
A wide choice of colours is available across selected designs, allowing you to personalise the bed to suit your bedroom. Depending on the model, you may also be able to choose from different leg styles, finishes and bed sizes.
When choosing a velvet bed, we recommend ordering fabric samples before making a final decision. Velvet shades can appear different in natural and artificial light, and viewing the material in your own bedroom can help you choose the most suitable colour and texture.
Each bed is handmade in our Manchester factory by experienced upholsterers, with a wide range of fabrics, sizes and finishing options available across the collection.
