Explore Winged Beds with Statement Headboards
Winged beds are characterised by a headboard that extends forward at either side, creating a distinctive framed appearance around the sleeping area. The additional depth and shape of the headboard can make the bed a stronger focal point within the bedroom while adding a more upholstered, luxurious feel.
Our collection includes winged beds in a range of traditional and contemporary designs. Some feature deep buttoning or more decorative upholstery, while others use cleaner lines, subtle stitching or plain padded panels for a more understated look.
The upholstered wings add depth to the overall design and can help create a more enclosed, inviting appearance around the head of the bed. This makes winged beds particularly effective in larger bedrooms or spaces where the bed is intended to become the main visual feature.
A wide selection of fabrics, colours and textures is available across the collection, allowing you to personalise the finished design to suit your bedroom. Depending on the model, you can also choose from different leg styles, finishes and bed sizes.
When choosing a winged bed, it is important to consider the overall width as well as the mattress size. The wings extend beyond the main sleeping area, so a winged design will generally require slightly more wall space than a bed with a straight headboard. Checking the full dimensions before ordering will help ensure the proportions work comfortably within your room.
Each bed is handmade in our Manchester factory by experienced upholsterers, with a choice of sizes, fabrics and finishing options available across the collection.
